About MelRay Studios

MelRay Studios was formed when I met Mel. After all, there is no MelRay without Mel! I started to get involved in web design and hosting solutions when I started working at GCIS back in February '04. They were kind enough to take me in and show me the ropes. I knew a little of this and a little of that, but the people at GCIS helped me put it all together. Thanks guys.

MelRay Studios really got kicked off when our daughter Leah was born in March '04, the first day of spring actually. I wanted to use the skills I learned at GCIS to better help Mel's family, and my own, see our little miracle on their computers. My family is local, but Mel's live in Missouri, well most of them anyway. We can't exactly drop everything and go visit them whenever we feel like it. So I started to gather our pictures and arrange them on the Internet. Our own little space on the Internet named www.melray.us. Thanks to Sandi who as a gift to Leah, bought the name and hosting for 2 years. You rock Sandi!

Now it's almost 2005(Early November as of writing this) and the site has still remained small, but getting bigger. I wanted to redesign the entire site in hopes to attract more clients, after all they do pay the bills, and just because I wasn't terribly happy with the way it looked in the first place. I finally got Mel involved in custom creations.

So there you have it in a nutshell. MelRay Studios hasn't been around for ages, and dosen't have a long list of clients, but we're still growing and trying to improve ourselves, and our services.
