Our Services: Hosting and Design.
Here is the place where you will find out whether or not you want to do business with us. I won't bore you with fancy colored tables describing and comparing different packages and the like. What I WILL do is say it in plain english.
Web Hosting
Want to have your own web site, or want another site? $15 a month, or $150 a year, I suggest the latter since you can't register a domain name for less than a year. It's that easy. No matter what you want to host, it's $15/mo or $150 a year. Now I'll tell you the nitty gritty details.
Here's what you WILL get when hosting with us.
- Lots of bandwidth! Our servers are highly connected in a main datacenter in New Orleans, LA. Redundant facilities available in three separate geographic locations across America. 10MB uplink, burstable up to 100MBs.
- Lots of space! How much do you need? Wouldn't worry about it! We can handle it, and if we can't, we will definitely let you know before hand.
- Geeky details: PHP/MySQL, Perl, CGI, FTP, HTTPS/SSL, password protect folders/files, nightly backups to a remote server, Mail Lists, Webmail/POP3 Email accounts(all Virus and Spam filtered), subdomains, cron jobs, Server Side Includes, etc etc etc...
- Technical Support can be conducted through Email, Instant Messenger Services like AIM and Yahoo! and of course Phone support is available within Business Hours, and even non-business hours, but it will cost you for the latter.
- Daily Usage statistics. See who has been looking at your site, and where they were going! Webalizer Powered
- Error logs. See what's not working right if you are a D.I.Y. sort of person.
Here's what you WILL NOT get when hosting with us:
- NO shell accounts. Period. This is for security reasons of course. FTP access only.
- NO ASP support. These are linux servers, not windows...and we don't want to support ASP. Sorry, no exceptions.
- NO control panel for your site. If you need something done, inform us and we will do it for you.
- ZERO SPAM TOLERANCE. If you are caught using our servers for unsolicited emails(spam) we will not be happy, so don't do it.
- NO ILLEGAL CONTENT. Means no illegal software, music, movies, harmful or illicit material that violates federal laws. Use your best judgement people.
- We do not provide a domain name for your site. GoDaddy is always having domain name sales. Check them out.
There are more details, but you get the general idea. I didn't want to make this a tech report. If you have any questions about what we offer/don't offer you know you can always email us your questions. We don't mind at all!
Web Design
This is really simple as well. You want us to create your entire site? No problem! Depending on the project, it will cost you $30 per page. That might seem like a lot, but you get a lot with it. Let me explain.
xHTML, CSS, PHP/MySQL, Flash are the languages I program in. You get all that AND custom graphics on every page. Your site will be functional and suited to your tastes. That is if you provide any.
